Branding Iron Apartments for Rent
Fifteen miles southwest of Tucson, Arizona, the Branding Iron neighborhood (zip code 85757) is surrounded by mountains and calico colored hills. There are two arterial routes that provide access to this neighborhood. To the north is the West Tucson Ajo Highway which is a direct route to downtown. Shopping can be found on West Valencia Road which is south of the neighborhood. The nearest schools are the Harriet Johnson Primary School and the Southwest Alternative Middle and High School.
The neighborhood, bordered on the east by South Camino Verde, is accessible from either of the main routes. The western boundary is South Wade Road. The neighborhood is setup with a center circle with cul-de-sacs that spread out like spokes on a wagon wheel. The roads reach to West Drexel Road to the north and the property line that follows the streets on the south. In the center of the Branding Iron neighborhood is Circle Drive. Inside the circle are homes and the Branding Iron Park. The park has basketball courts, play structures, and a covered picnic area.
Tucson Mountain Park covers 20,000 acres with 62 miles of trails for hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians. The park is also home to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum and Old Tucson Studios. Both of these attractions have something for everyone, but children will love the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum with the many interactive activities like the mine shaft where only kids fit. Many westerns were filmed at the Old Tucson Studios and they have retained many of the sets. It’s an interesting view of the “Old West.”
