South Hull Apartments for Rent
South of downtown Montgomery, Alabama is the neighborhood of South Hull. It is a neat checkerboard of north-south and east-west running streets containing both older and newer homes on tree-lined avenues. The homes in this semi-rural looking neighborhood are medium to larger-sized one and two-story affairs – some of them distinctive. South Hull is bordered on the west by Bellingrath Park and Bellingrath Jr. High School. Interstate 65 is a bit further to the west. Bellingrath Park contains three baseball diamonds and a football field.
Besides Bellingrath Jr. High School, other nearby schools that serve the South Hull area includes Davis Elementary School and William R. Harrison Elementary School. There are also several day care/learning centers to choose from if the need arises. Not far to the east of Montgomery is the town of Auburn – home of Auburn University and the NCAA Auburn Tigers.
Just to the south of South Hull is the Destin Connection Seafood Market. It is a full-service and take-out establishment that receives fresh Gulf seafood daily. On the menu are items such as live crawfish and lobster, shrimp, crabmeat, and oysters. Guests are advised to call ahead for take-out items.
Montgomery is the home of at least five museums, historical sites, a wide variety of restaurants, antique shops, art galleries, shopping malls, and world-class entertainment.
The Garrett Coliseum is part of the Alabama Agricultural Center and is the setting for family entertainment such as concerts, rodeos, expositions, circuses, conventions, and trade shows. The Center also has indoor and outdoor arenas, livestock, swine, and dairy barns, an exhibit building, and 22 horse barns.
