During the rest of the year, Cheyenne’s Western charm is displayed in more subdued ways. The city is home to museums and movie theaters, ranches, the Cheyenne Symphony, a botanic garden, and a great downtown filled with shops and restaurants. Rent in Cheyenne and you’ll have plenty to see and do.

As the state capital, Cheyenne is a busy metro area with the economy based in government and military. The F.E. Warren Air Force Base and the Wyoming National Guard are both based near Cheyenne. Cheyenne is home to an impressive trail system and several parks, including Mylar Park, Cahill Park, Holliday Park, and Brimmer Park. The nearby Laramie Mountains provide outdoor activities that range from mountain biking, camping, boating, and fishing to horseback riding and geochaching.
