Danville sits along the North Carolina border in southern Virginia. The Dan River twists through the heart of the city. Riverwalk Trail is a paved path along the river, perfect for walking, biking, and inline skating. The path also connects several of Danville’s attractions, including the Danville Science Center, Carrington Pavilion, and historic downtown Danville.

In addition to the eight-mile Riverwalk Trail, Danville residents have access to the Anglers Ridge Mountain Bike Trail, 25 miles of mountain bike trails. The Virginia Birding and Wildlife Trail can also be accessed from Danville. Dan Daniel Park and Ballou Park also have hiking trails. People who enjoy spending time outdoors will love their new Danville apartment.

Living in Danville, you’ll enjoy the Farmers’ Market, open May through October. This market features locally grown produce as well as baked goods, homemade items, and more. For fun, visit Crossing at the Dan, which is home to the Danville Science Center, the Carrington Pavilion – an outdoor amphitheater where concerts and events are held – and the Pepsi Building. Racing fans will appreciate the nearby Martinsville Speedway and the Virginia International Raceway, while art and history lovers will appreciate the Danville Museum of Fine Arts and History and the AAF Tank Museum.
