Situated 29 miles northwest of Houston Texas, the city of Tomball is a family-oriented suburban community with several parks and nearby golf courses, a historic downtown, and an excellent public school system. Renting an apartment in Tomball provides residents with small-town atmosphere weaved with tradition.

In the early 1800s, settlers began a small agricultural community based on farming and cattle. In 1906, Senator Thomas H. Ball helped bring a railway through town. Because of the economic growth spurred by the railway stop, the name of the town was changed from Peck to Tomball in his honor.

Tomball’s events include a weekly Walk Tomball event, held every Saturday morning. Residents are encouraged to get fit, win door prizes, and enjoy the coffee stops. Other events and festivals include Tomball German Heritage Festival, 2nd Saturday at the Depot, and a Farmer’s Market.

Rent an apartment in Tomball and enjoy this small, friendly community, its historic downtown, and its proximity to Houston.
