New Territories Apartments for Rent

The New Territories neighborhood can be found on the northwest side of San Antonio, Texas, less than 30 minutes from the center of the city. This community is bounded by State Highway 1604 on the north, South Bend on the south, Bowens Crossing Street on the east, and Grand Bend and Candle Bend on the west. It is part of Bexar County, in the 78250 zip code.

Most of this large neighborhood is residential with several hundred single-family homes and apartments on the northwest side. A few commercial offerings are also situated throughout, and Brauchle Elementary School is located within neighborhood bounds on the north.

For major shopping trips, there are several retail areas along nearby Highway 1604, just minutes from New Territories. These include Ingram Plaza to the south and Bandera Pointe to the north. The Shops at La Cantera is another popular retail destination, situated roughly five miles to the north, adjacent to Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

Another attraction within five miles north of this community is the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Outdoor recreation options abound near New Territories. The Government Canyon State Natural Area spans many acres a few miles to the west, and several smaller parks exist closer to home. These include Leon Creek Greenway Park, Schnabel Park, Nani Falcone Park, and Culebra Creek Park. Collectively, these parks offer many attractions, including walking/biking trails, athletic fields, playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts, natural areas, picnic facilities, and much more.
