Located on the east side of San Antonio, south of Interstate 10, is the Eastwood Village community. Running errands is made convenient by interstate access. Residents have the option of shopping at local private shops or visiting the Wal-Mart Supercenter, located two miles south, accessible via Interstate 410. The nearest shopping mall is Rivercenter Mall, located four and a half miles west on East Commerce Street. The mall is anchored by Macy’s and hosts an IMAX theater on one of four levels.

Paradise Entertainment and Splashtown Waterpark are among several entertainment attractions within a three mile radius of the community. There are several Redbox locations in the area as well.
