The 40,000 sq. foot American Airpower Heritage Museum is a WWII aviation museum that features interactive exhibits on firearms, uniforms, photographs, armaments and equipment.

The Commemorative Air Force is more than a museum – it is actually one of the largest air forces in the world. They have a collection of more than 160 planes from military conflicts since WWII.

America’s 43rd President, George W. Bush is Midland’s most famous ex-resident. The George W. Bush Childhood Home has been restored to its original 1950s condition. The museum features the Laura Bush Literacy Program. Kids from K-4th grade are read to from a selection of children’s books. Afterwards, kids get a copy of the book and receive refreshments.
