America’s 43rd President, George W. Bush is Midland’s most famous ex-resident. The George W. Bush Childhood Home has been restored to its original 1950s condition. The museum features the Laura Bush Literacy Program. Kids from K-4th grade are read to from a selection of children’s books. Afterwards, kids get a copy of the book and receive refreshments.
