Harrison Tract is a neighborhood in the northwest portion of the city of Midland, Texas. The neighborhood has both single-family homes and apartments available within its limits. The neighborhood is small by comparison to most others in the area. It is surrounded on all sides by adjoining neighborhoods, including Arbor Park to the west, Wallace Heights to the southwest, Rettig Place to the south, Wedgewood Park to the north, and Francis III to the East.

There are two elementary schools that handle the community, which are Rusk and Bonham. Alamo Junior High School is a mile away and serves as the middle school for the area, while high school students most likely will attend Lee High School. The area is home to several private schools which are rated highly, as well. For students and residents alike, the Midland County Public Library serves as the nearest area for researching or grabbing a book.

Harrison Tract provides its community with an abundance of fun things to do in the general area. There are numerous parks for residents to enjoy outdoor activities. Among these are Rusk, Pioneer, Doug Russell, and Monov. Doug Russell also serves double duty with having a pool for residents to enjoy during the hot Texas summers. Nueva Vista Golf Course is in the general vicinity of the neighborhood, as well as Putt-Putt golf for the little ones. First American Bank Ball Park is also in close enough proximity for taking the family to see a game.

The nearest shopping mall to the area is the Midland Park Mall, with Imperial Shopping Center also nearby. Should the need arise for emergency medical attention, Select Specialty Hospital Midland or the Midland Memorial Hospital are the quickest locations to get to from Harrison Tract.
