Heritage Hills contains its own Walmart, Cato, and Payless Shoesource. The Republic of Texas Museum is right down the road from the community, as is the Cedar View Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

The Heritage Hills neighborhood has its own park, the North Acres Park.
