Poplar Creek Estates is a large neighborhood located just southwest of Nashville, not far from Percy Warner Park. The neighborhood is bisected by Poplar Creek Road and is situated just south of Harpeth River. Highway 100 is to the south of the neighborhood.
Just minutes from Downtown Nashville, Poplar Creek Estates offers a more rural setting while still being within commuting distance. But don’t think this is far from everything – there are plenty of shops, restaurants, and businesses in the area. The Shoppes on the Harpeth shopping center offers a variety of retail options, including a Publix supermarket. There are also several restaurants and a Starbucks nearby.
Chaffin’s Barn Dinner Theater has been voted one of Nashville’s top 25 attractions. They have been offering great shows and delicious buffets for over 40 years. The combination of Broadway-style shows and satisfying food has guaranteed their success.
The Loveless Café is a restaurant in Nashville known for their biscuits and homemade jams. Their family-style dining has been features in various food magazines. The Natchez Trace Parkway begins near the Loveless Café and travels for over 400 miles. It is a road for hiking, biking, or taking a drive to absorb the scenery.
Poplar Creek Estates is close to two golf courses. Harpeth Hills Golf Course and Old Natchez Country Club both offer 18 holes of golf on rolling, scenic fairways. Harpeth Hills is open to the public, and Old Natchez is a members-only club. Members of Old Natchez will also find tennis facilities, a junior Olympic-size pool, and dining in the casual Tap Room or the elegant Grille Room.
Edwin Warner Park and the adjacent Percy Warner Park are separated by Old Hickory Boulevard. The two parks are on the National Register of Historic Places. Both parks have a variety of activities and collectively offer visitors an equestrian center, hiking trails, and cross country courses.
Nashville, which is known as the capital of country music, is home to the Musician’s Hall of Fame and Museum, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, and the Grand Ole Opry. These are all located in downtown Nashville, which is about 20 minutes from Poplar Creek Estates.
