Larchwood Apartments for Rent(hide neighborhood information)
The Larchwood neighborhood is composed of architecturally pleasing apartment complexes in a manicured setting. The buildings reflect both colonial and federal styles, and spring-flowering trees make this neighborhood feel more like a park. With one of the region’s largest and most popular parks – Percy Priest Reservoir – within walking distance, Larchwood fits right in.
East of I-40, Larchwood is accessed only by Lakebrink Drive off Blackwood Drive in zip code 37214. A number of neighborhood conveniences add to the appeal. Food Lion grocery, Cracker Barrel restaurant, Dollar General, and Ladies Workout Express are within blocks. There are several service businesses and local eateries here as well.
Follow Blackwood Drive about a mile north to Nashville Shores, a massive water park and recreational area. Nashville Shores provides great access to the 14,000 acre lake and offers boat ramps, boat and jet-ski rentals, lakeside cabins, and RV parking.
The Greenway Trail can be accessed at the end of Stewarts Ferry Pike, just west of the bridge to Nashville Shores. The trail passes under I-40 and on to miles of a trail complex, which the city of Nashville continues to expand and improve. This particular segment ends either at Kohl’s Department Store, or the west campus of Middle Tennessee Mental Health Institute. Another great trail segment is across the Cumberland River, Shelby Bottoms Greenway.
Of course, in a town nicknamed Music City, entertainment is never far away. With easy access to I-40, residents can be at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in only minutes. Ryman Auditorium is about much more than country music and concerts here also include jazz, classical, and alternative rock. Ryman also has great music theater and stand-up comedy. The Nashville Symphony performs at Schermerhorn Symphony Center and the Frist Center for the Visual Arts is close by as well.
