Today, the home and gardens form a historic site open to the public for guided tours, specialty lunch tours, and self-guided tours.
Residents of Hickory View are only eight miles from the expansive outdoor recreational area of Radnor Lake Natural Area and Wildlife Refuge. The nature sanctuary has an 85-acre lake and a variety of scenic areas for wildlife observation as well as a look at a variety of wildflowers, ferns, plants, and vines. Miles of trails are available for hiking and observation only.
