Crestridge Apartments for Rent(hide neighborhood information)
The Crestridge neighborhood is pastoral, with country lanes winding through the hilly terrain. Homes have an understated elegance, set well back from the street on lush lawns. Large oaks and spring flowering trees create a park-like atmosphere. Crestridge lies east of Franklin Pike, bound by Woodmont Boulevard to the north and Caldwell Lane to the south in zip code 35204.
Not surprisingly, one of Nashville’s most upscale malls is less than a mile from Crestridge. With such prestigious retailers as Tiffany, The Mall at Green Hills is certainly a shopping center of some distinction. But there are other retailers here as well, including several national department stores. The Green Hills Branch of the Nashville Public Library system is near the mall.
Another prestigious neighbor is David Lipscomb College. This private college with religious affiliation is a short walk through the lovely, winding roads of Crestridge. The campus would make for a nice morning walk. Several other well-known colleges and universities near Crestridge include Vanderbilt, Peabody and Belmont University.
Very close to Vanderbilt is the cultural center of Nashville. The Symphony performs at Schermerhorn Symphony Hall, and the Frist Center for the Visual Arts maintains quality exhibits of interest.
There are several country clubs in this scenic area. Hillwood Country Club and Belle Meade are the most convenient for Crestridge residents. Percy Park has two public courses: Percy Warner Golf Course and Harpeth Hills Golf Course.
Boaters and those who love water-related activities will appreciate the services and convenience at nearby J. Percy Priest Reservoir. Less than a half-hour away, and on the west side of this vast lake, Elm Hill Marina can accommodate even the largest houseboats. They also rent boats, including large pontoon boats.
