The neighborhood of Colonial Village is located east of the city of Nashville between Donelson Pike and Stewarts Ferry Pike east of Briley Parkway and north of Interstate 40. The neighborhood consists of Colonial Circle which stretches east from Donelson Pike to McCampbell Avenue.
Colonial Village is one of the older neighborhoods in the Donelson Pike area. The neighborhood is filled with mature trees which provide shade over the small, bungalow style homes of the mid twentieth century. The neighborhood is situated on streets which include business and industrial zoning as well as residential areas.
Residents of Colonial Village have easy access to shopping, dining, and banking via Donelson Pike and Lebanon Pike. The closest major shopping district is at the nearby intersection of Donelson Pike and McGavock Pike. This area includes a Kroger super market, a CVS Pharmacy, and a Walgreens Pharmacy as well as a number of fast food restaurants including Pizza Hut, McDonald’s, and Taco Bell.
The neighborhood of Colonial Village is also close to the Nashville International Airport, to the south, via Donelson Pike.
