Also located on the site is the Shelby Bottoms Nature Center, which offers educational nature classes and tours, including hiking exhibitions to see deer, crows, and the American woodcock, all of which make their home at the park.
Another popular spot located just outside Cliffdale to the north is Two Rivers Park Wave Country. This water park sits beside the Cumberland and offers visitors a chance to enjoy a variety of water activities, like giant water slides. Nashville Shores is another water park located to the east, which covers 385 acres along the shores of J. Piercy Priest Lake. Besides featuring giant slides and swimming areas, the park offers 30-minute lake cruises.
For boating enthusiasts, the Elm Hill Marina on the western shores of J. Piercy Priest Lake is the perfect destination. This full-service marina has wet-slips, and offers water-sport rentals such as houseboats and jet skis.
