Camdon Court is a small, residential community of Nashville. It lies along Anderson Road, just southwest of the Smith Springs Public Use Area. Most of its houses are single-family, detached homes of varying styles, including two-story, classic American houses.
It’s an ideal neighborhood for outdoor enthusiasts. The Anderson Road Fitness Trail is a mile to its north. Long Hunter State Park is three and a half miles to its east. Since the park runs along J. Percy Priest Lake, it allows for swimming and boating opportunities. It also has a picnic pavilion and hiking trails. Four Corners Recreation Center is three miles southeast of the community.
Camdon Court is family-friendly, with high quality private and public schools within easy driving distance. Lakeview Elementary School, which is noted for its students’ academic achievements, is a mile and a half to its west, while Thomas A. Edison Elementary School is a mile and a half to its south. Ezell Harding Christian School is two miles to its southwest, and John F. Kennedy Middle School is two miles to its south.
Although the Camdon Court community is residential, it is near many shops and restaurants. Sicily Pizza, Subway, and China Spring are a quarter-mile to its north. Pizza Hut is two miles to its southwest. Picnic Pizza & Italian Restaurant, Mr. P’s Buffalo Wings, Captain D’s Seafood, Wendy’s, and Dairy Queen are within a two-mile radius.
Lane Motor Museum is only eight miles northwest of Camdon Court. The Hermitage, the historical home of President Andrew Jackson, is just under nine miles to its north. The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and the Tennessee Central Railway Museum are less than eleven miles to its northwest.
