The surrounding area is very urban, and it is densely populated, both with residential areas and businesses. A high school is located just minutes away.
This area is located very near both the Stones River and the Cumberland River. The Two Rivers Mansion is located within this area. The house was built on the eve of the Civil War and is said to have been the last antebellum plantation home to be built in middle Tennessee.
Families will be thrilled to discover that Two Rivers Park and Wave Country Water Park are no more than a few minutes away from the Autumn Chase neighborhood. The park is home to one of Nashville’s two wave-action pools. Waves are generated at intervals of about 15 minutes, allowing guests to ride them in much the same way that surfers would. The water park also has water slides and an area for toddlers.
Two Rivers Skate Park is adjacent to the wave pool. The 22,000-square-foot skate park is open from dawn to 11 PM all year. There are sections of three different sizes in the skate park.
