Downtown Beaverton features the Beaverton Town Square, an outdoor shopping center. The farmer’s market is highly-rated and takes place June-October. Flicks by the Fountain is an August movie series at Beaverton City Park, also in downtown.

Beaverton Transit Center will quickly take you to Portland via the MAX light rail system. The center is also a bus station and commuter rail center.
