The eastern border runs behind the homes on South Columbia Avenue between 71st and 74th Streets.

Everything a resident could want is in the surrounding area on 71st Street and South Lewis Avenue. Shopping centers are nearby with all the big stores. There are many choices for dining, from fast food to trendy restaurants. There is a mall further up on Lewis Avenue and a theater. The area is also home to a business park and several large corporate offices. Several large hotels accommodate the business travelers and the University families.

Going east on 71st Street, it is a short drive to the Arkansas River Parks where recreation abounds. This is a great place for residents to walk or ride a bike along the 10 miles of trails. The Tulsa Transit provides bus service to Woodcrest residents and the students at Oral Roberts University. With bus services, residents can take advantage of all the activities that Tulsa has to offer.

Woodcrest may be a small neighborhood but it is very much a part of the Tulsa culture.
