Whitehall Apartments for Rent(hide neighborhood information)
The Whitehall neighborhood is located on the western side of Lake Hefner in the northwest quadrant of Oklahoma City. It is a modest to upscale, urban community, centrally located among lots of parks, lakes and golf courses. The neighborhood itself is lovely. Whitehall has numerous tall, majestic oak trees that sway in the wind. Expansive areas of open plains encourage multiple species of animals to create their habitats in Whitehall.
Water recreation is a popular pastime for most Oklahoma residents. There are over 200 lakes strategically placed throughout the state. Many are part of the Oknoname Reservoir System, which uses the lakes as water resources for local residents. The Whitehall community is located near Eagle Lake.
Eagle Lake is a beautiful recreation site. Visitors can enjoy their time fishing on shore or by boat. Those who prefer to stay on land can explore numerous trails and enjoy picnicking in designated areas or on grassy plains under shade trees.
Harvest Hills Park can be found in the western part of the Whitehall community. It has a number of intriguing features for people of all ages, including biking and hiking trails, a swimming pool, baseball fields, a playground and a sprayground for people to stay cool in hot weather.
East of Whitehall, Lake Hefner entices people to relax and enjoy the great outdoors. This 2,500 acre lake and recreation area has all sorts of amenities. Fishing and exploring trails is popular, but the lake also has a separate golf course and Stars and Stripes Park (where many events are held) located on its southern border.
Whitehall is a family community established in a serenely beautiful Oklahoma setting. Expansive skies seem never ending, and the peaceful atmosphere is more than a little welcoming.
