East of Whitehall, Lake Hefner entices people to relax and enjoy the great outdoors. This 2,500 acre lake and recreation area has all sorts of amenities. Fishing and exploring trails is popular, but the lake also has a separate golf course and Stars and Stripes Park (where many events are held) located on its southern border.
