Venice Boulevard goes north to south through the neighborhood. It is a true boulevard with a grassy median with trees between the north and south lanes of the street for part of the way through Venice. It is lined with charming homes with manicured lawns. There are homes of almost every style, but many of them are single story with brick or partial brick exteriors. The I-44 runs just north of the neighborhood and it leads to the I-235, which gives the entire area easy access to downtown Oklahoma City.

This is a very active community and it is not uncommon to know the neighbors and to meet them walking in the neighborhood. This is a historic neighborhood. Many of the homes are from the 1940s and 50s. Prices in this neighborhood range widely, from less than $75,000 to over $200,000.

Family Dollar Store, Dunkin Donuts’, and Advanced Auto are located on North May Avenue. There is a Wingco Grocery Store on North Villa Avenue. North May Avenue has a number of commercial establishments. There are many local businesses there, including car dealerships.
