North MacArthur Boulevard runs past the neighborhood about one mile to the west, and the John Kilpatrick Turnpike traverses the area about a half-mile east. For local shopping, Remington residents are just a short drive from a variety of shopping centers. A few miles east of the neighborhood, along the turnpike, are the most prominent options – the Quail Springs Mall and the Quail Springs Marketplace. Here, residents can easily spend a day shopping, dining, and enjoying a movie at the AMC Theater. South of this retail area, adjacent to the Quail Creek Golf & Country Club, area a handful of additional shopping centers.
