Not too far away to the southwest of Martin Luther King, just past the Interstate 235, is the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum. Built in honor of the victims of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombings, this facility takes visitors on a self-guided tour that replicates the events of April 19, 1995 and the time afterwards as the city and nation coped with the tragedy.
