(hide neighborhood information)

Wide, walkable streets and expansive, mature landscapes make Hillcrest a desirable neighborhood. Homes throughout the eastern section of the community overlook the picturesque Willow Creek Golf & Country Club.

Hillcrest encompasses zip code 73159. The community is bounded by Southwest 59th Street on the north, South Pennsylvania Avenue on the east, the Interstate 240 and Southwest Expressway 3 on the south, and South May Avenue on the west. The community is mostly residential, although there are a few commercial buildings in the neighborhood, including eateries and shops, and there is a church and elementary school.

One of the many benefits of living in Hillcrest is the Willow Creek Golf & Country Club, which covers several acres of land in the eastern quadrant of the community. This private club is filled with rolling fairways and mature trees, and offers golfers a challenging 18-hole course. The facility also has a clubhouse, swimming pool, and tennis courts. Not too far outside of the neighborhood to the northwest is the Syl Goldman Park. This city park features a baseball field, playground, and hiking trail.

Those desiring an education will be happy to know that the Oklahoma City Community College is located outside of the neighborhood to the southwest. This 143-acre, scenic campus opened its doors in 1972 with just over 1,000 students. Today the bustling educational institution has more than 28,000 students and offers a wide variety of associate degrees and certificates.

For the convenience of Hillcrest residents, the Kindred Hospital Oklahoma City South is located just outside the community to the northeast. This long-term care facility has a variety of specialties, including pulmonary care, and complex wound care.
