Fox Run is a suburban development on the north side of Oklahoma City. The attractive homes of the neighborhood cluster beside Walnut Creek, where it forms a small reservoir. The neighborhood was developed in the early 1980s, as Oklahoma City expanded to the north. Many of the homes were finished in 1981.

The zip code for Fox Run is 73142. On the east, the neighborhood extends to Abbot Way. On the south, it is bounded by Northwest 122nd Street. The east boundary of Fox Run includes both sides of Northwest 123rd Street, and the north boundary includes both sides of Gaelic Glen Drive from 123rd Street to North MacArthur Boulevard.

East of Fox Run is the neighborhood of Cimarron Run, and to the west is the similar subdivision called Country Hollow, which was built soon after Fox Run. The neighborhoods are distinct, but share curving little-traveled streets and a peaceful suburban atmosphere.

The mostly single-family homes of Fox Run are traditional in style. They are often built of brick or ornamented with touches of stone. Nearly all the houses in the development are single story, and all are set in yards with established landscaping and mature trees. On the east side of Abbots Way and east of it on Gaelic Glen Drive are duplex homes built in Colonial and Tudor Revival style.

The nearby creek holds recreational opportunities, including a grassy slope on its north side. Martin Park Natural Area is less than two miles away, offering hikes and picnicking, and Lake Hefner to the south holds popular walking and jogging trails.

Fox Run is a neighborhood that was created with growing families in mind, and it remains an agreeable place to bring up kids.
