Express buses also carry passengers downtown from the edge of Cambridge Park. The neighborhood is approximately eight miles east of the international airport.

Although there are plenty of stores closer to the neighborhood, Showplace Market in Moore is a fun place to shop. It has great variety, including a coffee bar and bookstore.

Recreational opportunities near the neighborhood include water skiing at Lake Stanley Draper, which also offers camping, dirt biking and fishing. Lake Thunderbird State Park is slightly farther away; it offers swimming, hiking and water sports. A paved path runs alongside Sooner Road between Southeast 44th and Southeast 29th Streets, passing a dignified memorial to the victims of the destructive tornado that struck in 1999.

Cambridge Park is a tidy neighborhood in a convenient location. A reasonable commute from downtown Oklahoma City, it’s far enough away for residents to enjoy the peace of the open plains.
