Tuttle Neighborhood in Dublin, OH

Tuttle Neighborhood

Colonial and large ranch homes sit on quiet cul-de-sacs in the Tuttle neighborhood. This attractive suburban area offers mature shade trees and wide sidewalks. Tuttle is bound by Tuttle Road, Blazer Parkway, Hayden Run Road, and Interstate 270.

The Mall at Tuttle Crossing, one of Dublin’s favorites, occupies the neighborhood’s northwest corner. A half-dozen malls are found just east. A Wal-Mart SuperCenter lies a mile west, and several large grocery stores occupy the immediate vicinity.

Less than a mile east of Tuttle, Hayden Falls Park offers a rugged area with a waterfall and a steep gorge. Residents enjoy recreational opportunities like the 96-mile bikeway and the Heritage Rail-Trail.

The nearby O’Shaughnessy Reservoir is a large recreation area that is especially popular with fishermen. History buffs will appreciate the dam at the reservoir, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium lie near the dam’s east side.

Golf courses abound, both public and private. Powell and Wilson Road are the closest public courses, but any others can be found just a short drive away. Private clubs include Muirfield Village Golf Club and The Golf Club of Dublin.

The Dublin Community Recreation Center provides many recreational opportunities for all age groups. The DCRC offers a club-like atmosphere with lounges for teens and seniors. The wonderful Abbey Theater is housed here as well.

The Ohio State University is the largest educational institution in the area, but a number of small private colleges litter the area, including Columbus State Community College at Dublin. A public library sits about two miles north, near Coffman Park and Indian Run Falls Park.
