Timberbrook is a neighborhood located in Columbus. Access to the community is available by way of Interstate 270, Interstate 670, Highway 40, County Road 10, and Walcutt Road.

Some of the recreational resources in Timberbrook include three parks: Georgian Heights Park, Big Run Park, and Green Countrie Park. Features of these parks include non-lighted ball diamonds, an athletic complex, a nature preserve, playground, basketball court, an open air shelter, and a walking trail. These parks also have a woods and a wildlife area.

Educational needs are met through a number of schools in the Timberbrook neighborhood. The seven elementary schools include: Stiles Elementary, Prairie Norton Elementary, Hillard Horizon Elementary, Prairie Lincoln Elementary Eakin Elementary, Georgian Heights Alternative Elementary, and West Broad Head Start Elementary School. The only middle school in the community is Wedgewood Middle School. In addition to the public schools, there are opportunities to learn karate through a school of martial arts in the neighborhood. Beyond these schools, there is the Westgate Friends Kindergarten.

A number of fire-safe hotels are located in the Timberbrook neighborhood. They are the Cross Country Inn, The Hometown Inn, the New Rome Motel, the Red Roof Inn, Motel 6, Courtyard by Marriott, Super 8 Columbus West, and the Hampton Inn West.

One of the local shopping resources is the Westland Shopping Center. It is an 860,000-square-foot shopping center located at the intersection of U.S. Route 40 and Interstate 270 and got its start as an open-air venue in 1969.
