The Broadleigh neighborhood in East Columbus, Ohio is located to the west of the Defense Supply Center Columbus and Port Columbus International Airport. Broadleigh is surrounded by several neighborhoods, which collectively form a concentric ring around the neighborhood. East Columbus is located to the northwest, with Bexley to the west and Whitehall to the southeast.
Broadleigh is framed by several major East Columbus streets. East 5th Avenue forms the northern border of the community. South James Road forms the eastern border. East Broad Street serves as the southern border, and North Cassady Avenue forms the neighborhood’s western perimeter.
In the vicinity are several parks, shopping centers, and recreation hubs. Town and Country Shopping Center sits to the southeast, as does Napoleon Park. The popular Archie Griffin Stadium can be found to the south. Krumm Park is situated to the north. Jeffery Park and Wolfe Park, on the other hand, can be found to the west of the neighborhood.
Broadleigh commuters relish their proximity to Interstate 670, conveniently located to the northwest of the community. Interstates 270, 70, and 71 are also relatively close to the Broadleigh neighborhood, giving this community easy access to downtown Columbus.
Broadleigh’s established homes were built in the late 1940s and 1950s. The majority have three bedrooms and either one or two baths. Square footage ranges from approximately 1,100 to 1,700 square feet.
