Established in 1811, Canal Winchester is located 14 miles southeast of Columbus, Ohio. This beautiful village contains roughly 74 species of tees, several parks, established neighborhoods, and a historic downtown.
Canal Winchester offers over 150 acres of parkland, including a 4.29-mile bike path, Westchester Park, Guiler Park, Village Green Pfeifer Park, and the James H. Kelley Preserve, a 4.5-acre green space with nature trails, a covered bridge, and creek access.
The annual Labor Day Festival, Canal Winchester’s largest and oldest event, began in the 1920s. It features carnival rides, a parade, and live entertainment. Other events include Christmas in the Village, featuring a parade, horse-drawn carriage rides, visits with Santa, ice sculptors, and train displays.
