The North Ridge Country Club is less than two miles away from Tealbriar. This picturesque club sprawls across 400 acres and includes two 18-hole golf courses, tennis courts, swimming facilities, and youth activities. The clubhouse is a favorite dining location for members and their guests. The club is located on Falls of Neuse Road.

One mile from Tealbriar is the Millbrook Exchange Park. There, area residents can enjoy year-round water recreation in the covered pool. The park also has tennis courts, playing fields, a community center, and the area’s oldest dog park. The Millbrook Dog Park is the only dog park in the city with lights.
