The RBC Arena is the place to watch NHL hockey in the form of the Carolina Hurricanes and North Carolina State basketball. The Marbles Kids Museum has North Carolina’s only 3D capable IMAX theatre, two outdoor “escapes” and a number of galleries featuring interactive exhibits.

The 42nd Street Oyster Bar is one of the most popular places in the area. They serve up sandwiches and lots of fried foods along with 70 varieties of beer and 100 wines. There is live music Thursday through Saturday.
