Eagle Ridge Apartments for Rent

Eagle Ridge residents don’t have to leave their neighborhood to relax and enjoy the outdoors. This golf community was developed in the 2000s around a semi-private golf course designed by professional golfer Tom Kite, and many of the houses overlook the course. The neighborhood also has a lake and a forest preserve, as well as a community pool, tennis courts, a 6,000 square-foot club house, and a playground.

The neighborhood is in zip code 27603, and Eagle Ridge is near the northwest corner of the intersection of Ten Ten Road and Old Stage Road. Eagle Ridge is between Highway 401 and Highway 50, both of which connect to downtown Raleigh and Interstate 440, which loops around the city.

Convenience shopping is less than two miles away at McCullers Crossroads, which has a large grocery store, fast-food restaurants, and a drug store. Several of the area’s biggest shopping malls, including Cary Towne Center, Crabtree Valley Mall, and Triangle Town Center, are about 20 minutes away.

Downtown Raleigh is 15 minutes south of Eagle Ridge. Many of Raleigh’s businesses, including the North Carolina state government offices, are in downtown Raleigh, as are North Carolina State University and several small colleges. Downtown is known for its vibrant nightlife, which includes popular comedy clubs, bars, dance clubs, and restaurants.

Commuting to the Research Triangle Park takes about 40 minutes from Eagle Ridge, and that route bypasses the Raleigh-Durham International Airport and William B. Umstead State Park, one of Raleigh’s biggest outdoor recreation areas. Lake Wheeler Park, which is on the northeast side of of lake, is close to the neighborhood and contains picnic tables and a sand volleyball court. The lake is a good place for boating and fishing.
