Deboy Land is a neighborhood in Raleigh, North Carolina. The neighborhood is part of the 27606 zip code and is located off of Deboy Street to the south of Western Boulevard and east of Interstate 440. Deboy Land is heavily wooded with plenty of greenery surrounding the homes and lining the roadways.

With a lack of commercialization in the general area, streets are somewhat light on traffic, providing great opportunities for active residents to get out and put rubber to the road. Walkers, runners, skaters, and cyclists can often be found taking advantage of the many paved miles of quiet roads and sidewalks to add distance to their workouts.

One of the biggest draws to this part of Raleigh is North Carolina State University, which is located just over a mile to the east. This massive campus is known throughout the United States for its incredible focus on education. Many students from around the world attend here each year, taking advantage of the numerous specialties and programs offered by the school. The school is also one of the largest educators in the area along with Meredith College.

North Carolina State University is also one of the biggest draws in the area for their sports teams. Throughout the year, the school brings out droves of fans to watch their many different teams compete. On game days, you’ll find residents flying flags, wearing team logo clothing, and filling sports bars.

The NC State football team and basketball team both play about a mile to the north of Deboy Land at Carter – Finley Stadium for the football team and the RBC Center for the basketball team. RBC stadium is also the home of the professional hockey team, the Carolina Hurricanes. Both venues are massive and used whenever possible for major shows, concerts, and other events.
