Main roads nearby include Duraleigh Road, Edwards Mill Road and Reedy Creek Road. To the east is the Raleigh Beltline (I440) and to the south of Bridgeton Park is I40.

Rex Hospital, located at 4420 Lake Boone Trail, is a 665-bed hospital that treats about 34,000 inpatients annually. It is one of Wake County’s largest employers. Rex is less than two miles from Bridgeton Park. Other Raleigh hospitals include WakeMed and Duke Raleigh Hospital.
South of Bridgeton Park, about three miles is the North Carolina Museum of Art. The museum offers diverse exhibitions, special programs, classes and a large permanent collection including 30 works of Rodin, Egyptian funerary art, sculpture, photography, Italian Renaissance and more.
About 2.5 miles away, on Edwards Mills Road is the RBC Center. It is home to the Carolina Hurricanes ice hockey team as well as a venue for concerts and other special events. Across from the RBC Center is the Carter-Finley Stadium, located on the North Carolina State University West Campus.
North of Bridgeton Park is the Carl Alwin Schenck Memorial Forest and the William B. Umstead State Park. Neighborhood parks include Laural Hills and Kentwood parks.
