Farm Pond is a neighborhood located outside of the urban area of Charlotte, North Carolina. Farm Pond is great for people who want a quiet neighborhood with plenty of shade, while still having the benefits of a city around them. Besides just offering houses this neighborhood also has an apartment complex.
The area around Farm Pond features many different shopping malls that can cover any shopping need. The residents of Farm Pond can shop for groceries at the Food Lion that is right outside of the neighborhood. For more groceries and common household items there is a Wal-Mart and a Target further down the road.
The shopping centers in the area provide residents of Farm Pond with many different places to shop and eat. One great place to shop is the Eastland Mall. The Eastland Mall is currently under renovations and will re-open and become a big part of the shopping community in the area.
Farm Pond is a great area for people who are looking for a good golf experience as there are many different golf courses in the area to choose from. Charlotte Country Club is a well-known country club that offers a manicured golf course designed by the famous golf architect, Donald Ross.
For a more affordable golf experience there is the Charles T. Myers Golf Course that offers a nice golfing experience. At this golf course visitors can either choose to play 18 or 9 holes.
Near to Farm Pond is Kilborne Park which has various open areas and courts for playing sports and wooded areas for nice nature walks. This park is a great place for family outings and gatherings.
