The neighborhood is situated equidistantly from three interstates, I-485, I-85 and I-77. Boulevard Homes is contained on the north by Highway 74/29, a major thoroughfare that travels east into the heart of Charlotte. The Charlotte Area Transit System services the neighborhood. The Charlotte Douglas International Airport is just west of Boulevard Homes.
Boulevard Homes residents enjoy a few businesses within the neighborhood. The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Charlotte is located on the west side of the neighborhood. Higher educational institutes nearby include ECPI College of Technology, the Art Institute of Charlotte and ITT Technical Institute, all within 2 miles of Boulevard Homes.
