Brevard, known as the “Land of Waterfalls,” is also home to Sliding Rock, Looking Glass Falls, and Connestee Falls. Sliding Rock is exactly that – visitors can slide down the waterfall into the pool of water below. It has a gentle slope around 60 feet long with a deep pool at the bottom.

Brevard College is a four-year liberal arts school with a well-known music program. The Brevard Music Center is a summer program that enrolls approximately 400 students a year. The students, age 14 and older, participate in private lessons, play in ensembles, and participate in concerts that are open to the public.
