A cozy little city nestled between the Catskill Mountains and the Hudson River, Kingston New York is located about 90 miles north of Manhattan. It is an active community with a long history, settled by the Dutch in 1652.

The historic uptown area features 19th-century Victorian architecture. The Stockade District has several 17th-century stone buildings, including the Senate House, dating to the 1670s. The Senate House served as the State Capitol building during the Revolutionary War. Several of the older buildings in this district were burned by the British in 1777.

Apartment renting in Kingston allows new residents to enjoy history, the vast arts community, excellent restaurants, and great shopping. In addition, the Catskill Mountains provide not only beauty but recreational activities such as hiking, snowshoeing, camping, and fishing.

Kingston is a vibrant Hudson Valley city with many opportunities for those choosing to relocate here.
