Paramount Apartments for Rent(hide neighborhood information)
The four streets forming the boundaries of Buffalo’s Paramount neighborhood are: Brighton Road, Delaware Avenue, Sheridan Drive and Calvin Boulevard. This makes the neighborhood almost square in shape. There is a small triangle section at the intersection of Brighton Road and Calvin Boulevard that is not part of the neighborhood.
Families with children delight in the fact that there are schools in the neighborhood. One of these, Covenant Academy, is a private school, but the other two, Herbert Hoover Elementary School and Herbert Hoover Middle School, are public schools. Students can go to school with their friends from the street, which makes for a great community feel for the neighborhood.
There are numerous restaurants and dining venues along Delaware Avenue, with several others on Sheridan Drive and Calvin Boulevard. This makes it very easy to grab a bite to eat at any time, or have coffee with friends.
Walter Kenny Field is just across Brighton Road from the Paramount neighborhood. This is the location of the Town of Tonawanda Veterans Memorial, where there are trees and park benches surrounding the monument. The park setting is also a huge playing field where the neighborhood families can have loads of fun.
Golfers only have to drive a short distance from home to tee off on the par 72 Brighton Park Golf Course. Along with a clubhouse and driving range, this park features a swimming pool, a baseball diamond, tennis courts and picnic areas. Ellicott Creek Park is also within close proximity to the neighborhood, where anyone can take advantage of the many opportunities to exercise in the fresh air in all seasons of the year.
