Highland Park, NJ Apartments for Rent

Highland Park is a popular New Jersey destination for apartment renters who want to be near major metro areas, the Raritan River, and Rutgers University.

Located just 20 miles south of Newark and 30 miles south of New York, major metro areas are nearby for nightlife, art and culture, and shopping. But residents of Highland Park have plenty of local shopping and dining, as well. Downtown Highland Park is a unique place with several annual festivals, a farmer’s market, and an art show.

Donaldson Park is a 90-acre park on the Raritan River with a boat ramp, tennis courts, ball fields, and playgrounds. Johnson Park in nearby Piscataway Township is 473 acres with two ponds, an animal haven, playgrounds, and “East Jersey Olde Towne” village.

Even though it is two miles from Rutgers University, Highland Park is much more than a college town. It has many rental apartments available, and new residents will appreciate Highland Park’s many attractive features.
