It features 19 soccer fields, 8 lighted tennis courts, 7 volleyball courts, 7 shelters, an 18-hole golf course, 2 playgrounds, a remote control car track, a roller hockey rink and more. Cosmo Park spans more than 533 acres, and is home to the Show-Me State Games each year.

Alpine Park and Gardens is a botanical garden and wildlife conservatory in the heart of Columbia, that spans more than 42 acres. Alpine offers Koi fish feeding, bird watching, walking paths and periodic events. The gardens are primarily available only for private parties, but are open to the public for special events throughout the year.
