Downtown Columbia and the University of Missouri are only minutes away. Forum Shopping Center is located a short drive to the north.

Green Meadows is surrounded by roads, South Providence Road to the east, West Nifong Boulevard to the south, and Forum Boulevard to the west, but its northern border is Epple Park. Epple’s recreation complex has a jungle gym, bouldering wall, and pump room. The Mizzou recreation trail, tennis courts, Hinkson Creek Park, and an aquatic center are also available. Golfers will also enjoy the 18-hole A. L. Gustin Jr. located next to Epple.

A few minutes in the car headed North on South Providence Road and Eagle Park residents will be in downtown Columbia. Shopping, dining, medical facilities, and entertainment are at the fingertips in this central Missouri town. The University of Missouri is the heart of the city with a student body of more than 30,000. Sporting, and cultural events such as plays and concerts are regularly held on campus.

For shopping without the downtown traffic, Forum Shopping Center is just a few minutes to the northwest. Just minutes west of downtown, Forum claims the title of most established retail center in the area and has everything from cell phone stores to beauty stores to restaurants.

Residents of Green Meadows find it is a relaxing reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough to head downtown on a whim. Within a few miles are the Epple Sports Complex, the Forum Shopping Center, and all the activity of downtown Columbia.
