The George Caleb Bingham Art Gallery is just over two and a half miles to its west.

Several wealthier residents belong to the Columbia Country Club, which is only two miles northwest of the neighborhood. In addition to sprawling, well-manicured golf courses, it offers a ballroom, luxury clubhouse, on-site restaurant, tennis courts, and an aquatic center.
