Celebrities and politicians venture here from around the globe to receive cutting edge medical treatment. The Mayo Clinic also constitutes one of the city’s primary employers. Several other highly ranked medical centers are within a few miles east of Folwell, including the Rochester Methodist Hospital, Olmsted Medical Center, and Federal Medical Center.
