Founded in 1856, Bel Air is a quaint town and the county seat of Harford County. This Maryland gem is located roughly 30 miles northeast of Baltimore, not far from the Aberdeen Proving Ground. As the “Heart of Harford,” Bel Air contains a variety of county and state agencies as well as a historic downtown filled with shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
