Wilder Park is a community is southcentral Louisville, Kentucky, within Jefferson County. It is bounded by Central Avenue on the north, Interstate 264 on the south, and South Third Street and Southern Parkway on the west. On the east, it extends to the railroad tracks. Established in 1908, this country club has a relaxed atmosphere, designed to be family friendly. In addition to a scenic 18-hole golf course, it also offers tennis facilities, swimming pools, and a clubhouse with several formal and casual dining options.
Farther east of the country club is the Louisville Zoo, a popular destination for area families. Slightly north of that, and still within a few miles of Wilder Park, are several medical centers and neighborhood parks, which really round out the options for area residents.
