Established in 1908, this country club has a relaxed atmosphere, designed to be family friendly. In addition to a scenic 18-hole golf course, it also offers tennis facilities, swimming pools, and a clubhouse with several formal and casual dining options.

Farther east of the country club is the Louisville Zoo, a popular destination for area families. Slightly north of that, and still within a few miles of Wilder Park, are several medical centers and neighborhood parks, which really round out the options for area residents.
