Eastview is close to the Angel Mounds State Historic Site. Indiana history includes the existence of early Native American groups, and the Evansville site is one of the most popular sites for visitors and archaeologists. The site dates back to 1100 B.C., but was mysteriously abandoned before 1450 A.D. The Angel Mounds Museum is an interpretive center with exhibits. Visitors can view the mounds, winter houses, roundhouse, and summer houses.

The town of Santa Claus is a popular tourist destination and is close to Eastview. The Santa-themed streets, shops, businesses, and decorations attract visitors all year. Santa Claus Land is the world’s first theme park and was founded by Indiana industrialist Louis Koch in 1946. Holiday World includes rides, shows and three wooden roller coasters. Other attractions in town include a museum, Christmas shop, miniature golf courses, and candy museum.
