Mount Prospect, IL Apartments for Rent

The Village of Mount Prospect has many things in its favor – an ideal location, just 20 minutes northwest of Chicago and just a few miles north of O’Hare International Airport; nationally-recognized schools; a vibrant downtown shopping district and the mixed-use Randhurst Village; tree-lined streets and quiet neighborhoods. It’s not surprising that Mount Prospect has been named one of the country’s best places to live (Money Magazine, 2010).

Mount Prospect has two commuter trains to Chicago, making the village a terrific place to find an apartment near Chicago. As a suburban village, it has plenty of open green space, including Lions Park, Weller Creek Park, and Sunset Park. The Mt. Prospect Golf Club is a beautiful and challenging course for golfers, provided by Mt. Prospect Park District. It began as a private country club in the 1920s and has been rated three-and-a-half stars by Golf Digest Magazine. Other facilities offered by the Park District include the Big Surf Wave Pool, the Studio (a center for visual arts), and RecPlex. This 93,000 square foot recreation complex includes two racquetball courts, a gym, a swimming pool, an indoor track, a children’s area, and a fitness center.
